![]() ![]() ![]() I'm just curious for the reason.įirst, for some really good quests that give you a feel for a sort of guided adventure game, read Tuidjy's post. ![]() Thank you.Įscrito originalmente por Malitias. You mentioned Gekokujo, but how do you start the main quest in that mod? I'm new to it, myself. In my book, the Wedding Dance, from ages ago, is still unequaled in that respect. and you cannot get much of a story otherwise. What's hard is to make it influence mechanisms already in place. So, no, it is not that hard to make a self contained long, interesting quest. So you either end up with a mod that SEVERELY restricts a player's actions (The Adventure Mod, Viking Conquest, The Last Days) or with just long chained quests that take place completely outside of the main game mechanics (Prophecy of Pendor, Gekokujo, etc.) or with a buggy mess (*cough* the ♥♥♥ *cough*) Escrito originalmente por Tuidjy:There were at least two story mods which have not been ported from Mount and Blade Classic (The Adventure Mod and The Wedding Dance) There are quite a few Warband mods which have quite a bit of a story, or at least long, chained quests (Light and Darkness, The Last Days, A Clash of Kings, etc.)īut yes, it is hard to make stories that are robust and withstand the player's unexpected actions. ![]()
